Daria is - as usual - gorgeous, but the photo in itself is just boring as hell.

Mario Testino's photography can almost always be described with just a single adjective -- sterile. Regrettably, this is no exception. If photography had a smell, his would reek of gel disinfectant.

You're both right ; his work doesn't deliver anything, I think right now, he gets a lot of work cause he is Mario Testino... However, I can't get how he managed to get some work before being known as Mario Testino

it seems as though all they do is give daria the wet look. she's so beautiful yet nothing is being done to enhance that- the stefanel creative team needs to take a moment to refocus; in a recession they should be going hard at creating unrelenting aspects of glamour in the form of ad campaigns. daria is a star & im dissapointed with this image.

regarding Testino...

i think he's in his comfort zone,no risking or experimenting. and i think he used to have good work.he let his famous persona eclipse his work.as well his celebrity work overshadow his fashion work.

he needs to find new motivation...and need to do at least more interesting things in his commercial style
