ive always quite liked stella....
she's done some flirty, fun, flimsy looks....
easy breezy beautiful kind of things.....

laid back and young....
and her colors always appeal to me....muted earthy tones and pastels....

this is a bit off though.....
the fit of the clothing isnt my cup of tea...
it screams 80's to me....??....
big lapels....big shoulders....
the big chain links on the tshirt-dresses....

stella does modern well....
and this is not modern....

she herself looks ten times better than the collection....


wish i could say i liked it....
but i dont think i do....

i think maybe she should hire someone to "consult" on the collection. as much as i like her(i find her incredibly sexy) the collection has been a bore and clearly while these designs are O.K. they are not great.
also she is not beholden to Gucci, unlike McQueen in which they own 51% and balenciaga in which nicolas only owns 9%, she owns 50% of her company which means she has as much say as they do, to add to that, her father is a billionaire so clearly for her money isnt an issue.
