Stella McCartney S/S 06 Paris

Beautiful collection. I love those dress with exotic patterns...
She's becoming great designer.

nothing wow, too much grey and the multicolored dresses don t look Stella to me.

a brilliant collection!!!!the grey dress stam is wearin has something weird about it though
The floaty gowns are also great!!!!:flower:

I think this is definitely a revisit to Stella- The Chloe Years. I think she really is trying to specify and define her style because past collections have been a little all over the place. That said, I'm not really into this.

I like some of it, though agree about the pop-art bits. They look very similar to a bag I used to use for laundry I bought in whitechapel market.

i think your all gonna hate me - but i dont hink i really liek mc cartney..... i just dont like the messy disheviled vibe - doesn't do anything for me

as in its not sexy, ads a few pounds and none of the clothes look like they fit!

ooo, I like those floating dresses, very dreaming:heart: and that relaxed laid back loose shirt and shorts combo:woot:

...the fit of the clothing isnt my cup of tea...
My issue too ^_^

I like the menswear inspired looks and that's about it. Everything else seems unflattering fitwise... like the eggshaped strapless dress for example  Even the looks I do like seem slightly off. Thumbs down from me I'm afraid...

this is so cool!! (style.com)

I like the general "feel" of her collection, though some parts were really bad.
and stam's new hair looks like lindsay lohan's :ninja:

^ i absolutely agree, i could wear this VERY easily myslef , even though i'm not a Stella fan..

i find this much much better than her usual collections, its more 'together' even thought there are still some awful looks around ..on the whole, quite an improvement ;)

I find this collection to be very sloppy and uninspired. The fabrics look cheap and the fit is unflattering. I can't believe she actually put those god-awful jumpsuits in there  The color palette is also very bland. I can't say that I am disappointed though-I didn't expect much. :innocent:

Incredibly lazy and cheap and ill-fitting. But then if you think about it, she did work for H&M while churning this out. ;)

By all means, bring back the old Stella: asymmetric jackets, sharply tailored suits, unexpected cutouts, tough chick stuff. She isn't good at volume and softness at all.

really nice, strong collection, with a few boring pieces every now and then......
overall, very wearable and pretty, same goes for the shoes.

i really like this collection for some reason.. ive always had a soft spot for her shoes :)

Now that I saw the entire collection, I think i'm a bit dissapointed there're some awful pieces ( the silver coat:sick: ) but still some lovely things not so original but I really like these:

I like it. I love the shirt dresses and the rolled up sleeves. She makes modern but classic wearable clothes. It's quite funny-that pic of Stella on the runway made me laugh-because I'm wearing grey skinnys with an oversized grey knit today.

this must be one of the most controversial Paris collection so far

interesting to read such a wide variety of views and i really appreciate how much we agree to dissagree respecting each other's opnions without making a big deal about it

 tFSpotters

Well at least we know that we'll never see PETA enforcers charging her runways :p I admire her activism :flower:
