Steven Meisel - Photographer

Where can i buy the book?

I have looked in art+Commerce and there is only available the Steven Meisel Giant puzzle, they don´t say anything about the book.
You should email the publshihers. The adress is one of the previous pages :flower:

^I've got it too! Got it in the mail yesterday :buzz:

^ Here's the cover :flower:

I thought the cover and design is pretty blah, when you can design Meisel's whole body of work in a book you don't make it like this imo

The book itself is indeed quite boring. But I think that's the whole point. When you have 317 gorgeous covers (each one a classic on its own), you don't need an interesting frontcover and design. The covers inside speak for themself.

i don't like the cover..yes it's true that when u have inside so many beautiful pics it's hard to pic one that is better than the others..but still....not so boooring..

the cover is really boring zero disaign and me i liked the book no are only cover 1 or 2 shot of the favorites pics of the ed i think is better the juergen teller book today

^Sorry I don't really understand the last part of your post. Do you say you like the Juergen Teller book better, or is it the other way around? :flower:

^i think he says juergen teller book is better

the 'graphism' of the meisel book (at least the cover) looks very what is done those days ...
though i'm not really keen of the typo !!

how does it look inside ?

i'm more interested into the texts than the covers collection - tbh !
could someone please snap or scan the texts please ?
...

something as simple as meisel's cover, this cover is way much appealing (imo) :

The Juergen book is much better in terms of design, this is bad.
I wonder what Steven thinks when he sees this

Exactly!

This is what I meant, simple is great but simple in a good way, the typography choice
for the Meisel is terrible I would say, those fonts cant represent a legendary photographer like him :flower:

Something like the Hans Ulrich book is much much better

My copy's cover isn't in good condition.
First one is the largest, and the 2nd, 3rd are smaller but clearer than that.
