Ah I see. I checked his VI cover book, and they have worked together a couple of times in the early 90's, but not that much. Meisel worked more with Francois Nars and Laura Mercier in the early 90s.

the August 1991 issue of Allure was also Meisel/Aucoin/Evangelista. love that cover.

it's a shame he didn't do more Allure covers, the 1991 ones he did (especially the ones with Linda) were lovely, but i think most of them after that (for at least a couple of years) were by D'Orazio.

^^OMG that lay out is soo stupid, hahah! But i think that is a stunning shot of her so its still not ruined for me.

yeah, agreed - it's way too crowded with text, but still a lovely cover because that shot is wonderful imo, even though Linda with the red hair = not my favourite look on her.
