Steven Meisel - Photographer

^It's good indeed.

It's a perfect example that Meisel does have a signature style.

Meisel studio shoots are so much more compelling than David Sims studio shoots. The above ed is proof of that. I miss these kind of eds by Meisel in US Vogue.

Me too! I don't know what's happening inside magazines edition... There was just one editorial in VP by Mario Testino this year and if I'm not wrong Meisel was only featured inside the May issue of Vogue US this year...

He also shot the amazing, beautiful 'Madcap' ed in February

But seriously...if there's no ed by him in September's issue I'm probably boycotting :judge:

^ But if I'm not wrong there was no editorial shot by Meisel last September... I have the issue but I don't remember about the eds inside... Only Testino, Elgort, Klein, McDean... I'm not sure

^ Oh yep... I remember now :doh: The styling was very nice, I loved to see that Baleciaga cocktail dress.

^but it's a breath of fresh air compared to the studio shoots David Sims does now for US Vogue.

I really like his studio work as well, and yeah bizarre Wintour aint using him that much this year, but i am sure he will be an edit or two for September.

I worship his studio eds:lol:Daily:ninja:
Thanks thiago: )

^Fingers crossed.

There was a time he did like 5 seperate things for one issue of US Vogue. I miss those days.

Talk about workaholic! He's not exactly young anymore and I'm actually surprised he still works as much as he does. He could retire if he wanted to! But I'm glad he's still here, working in any capacity that he wants.

Yes he could retire, but his work is his life, his passion.Personally,i still want to see him shoot in his 90's like Irving Penn. But we'll see if that comes to fruition:lol:
