Steven Meisel Three Hundred and Seventeen & Counting : Vogue Italia Covers 1988 - 2009

What a great idea for a thread!

Thanks for sharing, ammon!

I own this book too, I love it. It's such a good reference.

Although I hope they do a second volume from May 2009 to whenever he retires.

Didn't even know this was out! I'm ordering it right now!!

Lovely collection, ammon!
Thanks for posting!
Looking at these covers, makes me think Meisels best days are behind him.
His work in the 90s is so much more inspired than anything from the last five years.

^Wholeheartedly,but respectfully disagree. :p

I have the book and I agree that it's an incredible reference. In the back of the book it has an index crediting models, make up artists and fashion editor for each issue.

One thing that I dislike about the book is that its not a hardback..it's very fragile so you have to be extremely careful with it.

I ordered mine about 3ish months ago and am already having major issues with the binding  So i emailed Maillard/Janvier about getting me a new one, as I am very unsatisfied with the quality. And the foreword is kind of a joke to me, I could have written something better about Meisel's work   :innocent:

But without a doubt, it's great to have. :flower:

I bought this book 2 years ago and it's really great, it's every single cover Meisel shot for Vogue Italia and there's also an introduction about him
