Ali looks stunning in the Prada. But I don't think the Balenciaga Florals or the Prada Illustrations are ever styled in a particularly interesting way... the way they are worn just seems to be ripped from the runway.

This is the only Balenciaga Florals shown so far that is styled different than the runway...even
though the silk shantung jacket is also by Balenciaga! I like the contrast of the checks
with the florals. I alwaysTiina's styling.

very interesting you're pointing that out actually, cause I was just noticing that Balenciaga is hardly ever styled in combination with other designers...most of the floral stuff is total look Balenciaga...complete with the high boots

which is kind of a shame in my opinion, cause it would be so nice to propose a different styling.

great observation on that Balenciaga, MMA!. you know that's probably my biggest complain about the abuse of Balenciaga by every major publication season after season, the fact that they're just selling the 'balenciaga' look and seem almost scared to explore the pieces as they're meant to be.. they're not on the edge of experimentalism, they're on the experimental ground waiting to be pushed a lot further and very few stylists dare to change a thing.. I'm so glad Tiina did, she's truly remarkable, even if it's nothing huge, I just love that she let it be a part of a story and not an absurd epicentre.
