well, I think you might run into trouble finding the size 24's. I had to call ten stores, and lucked out that they were 1/2 off at Scoop NYC. I got their only 24, and that was back in January.

my waxed Liberties (after wearing them a few times) are 28 inches at the waistband, with a 8-inch rise, if that helps you out. i hesitate to tell you what size to get, but maybe the info I gave about other superfines jeans will help you out.

what is your hip measurement? i think i remember a picture of you in acne's on the eBay thread. is that you? if you, yes, you are probably slender enough for the 24's.

But, do you mean that i should get the 24 instead? If you're only 2 cm smaller than me, and the 24 fitted you almost a bit loosely..? Cause i'm afraid they'll be too small, but then again, i really want them TIGHT.

I would go with 24 since they run big. The wax comes off in the wash or dry cleaning though its not worth it anyways.

nah, they sold out anyway.. Maybe i should just get another pair of Tsubi's. The grey lean bean and phoenix would work much better in summer to, i would prolly melt in the wax one.

Beautiful Stranger, I have the superfines in wax and i hardly ever wear them, because i'm afraid that the wax migt come off. apart from that, they seem to work better for the evening than for the day anyways. if you are really interested in a pair of waxed jeans you could also try notify. the cut is different but they have the waxed finish as well. good luck.

Beautiful Stranger, I've worn my waxed Superfines a lot. I did notice a slight dulling in the sheen, but I think there are products for reviving the wax coating. I haven't tried it yet, but I can't imagine it would be too difficult. I actually like the light wax finish. I didn't want them too shiny.

That said, your photos suggest the size 24's would be the most appropriate. You could try calling Scoop NYC. There was also a pair on eBay that just sold for US$153, size 26.

And yes, the wax does seem to adjust to the surrounding temperature. I was shivering in mine during winter storms.

I think i'll consider getting a pair of waxed jeans again for Fall / Winter, and then i'll rather buy a more summer-y pair now.. (tsubi phoenix? hmm)

actually, i have to say, these silver jeans are soooo awesome. it looks so shiny in that picture. it's actually silver painted onto black, so it doesn't look that gaudy at all. superfine short shipped me a 24, and i actually am going through a lot of trouble to order them for myself. they're pretty freaking awesome. just my two cents. that is one bad picture.
