Nextnewface with Tanya—I would absolutely placed on the cover of French SC! Tanya certainly draws me in with her eyes, and although black and white might not be so common for magazine covers, I think this could pop, even without color. Tanya has the right attitude, the right look, and the wondrous poses to suck in many readers!
Nemezide with Lily C—This picture is stunning, there’s no doubt about it, but some part of me can’t help but wondering why you decided to go renaissance! Lily is BEAUTIFUL, flawless even, but I’m not really liking the whole renaissance idea for French SC. I think we have more attitude than that, and we’re more fashion forward than fashion history. SO this is good in that lily looks amazing, but not-s-good in that I would’ve liked to see eye contact, and I would have liked to see something a little more interesting.
Tbj with Georgia—This picture is so dynamic! I like all the shapes that Georgia is creating with her body, and how she managed to fill up the whole frame. I love the photo,but in my minds eye, im not sure how it would work as a cover. It Would work like..8 out of 10…its just not a supersuper 100 million percent job. Georgia looks rocknroll and awesome, and I appreciate that, no matter what!
Marcel with Julia—I love this. Totally love it. I think the lighting may be a bit too dark for a cover, but I think the eye contact and her flawless 20s era waves really draw me in and would stand out on the cover. It would be synonymous with the hip attitude of French SC! Good work, I think you did a great job.
Mr-Dale with Coco--I think if I had to rate this I would give it a TEN OUT OF TEN! Mr-Dale seriously, how do you manage to blow me away like this!? Well, I suppose coco has a lot to do with it
…! Coco looks absolutely perfect. The lighting is just right. The makeup is flattering but not nasty. Her bone structure is perfect. Her eyes draw me in in such an intense way! This is hip but not boring, classy and not nasty, perfect for the cover of French sc.
Hfgl with Caroline—You know at first I didn’t see it, but I have to give you bonus points for creating an edited version that really helped me see the light! I like the hwole, glance-over-the-shoulder thing and I love the idea of ‘a visit to brazil’! I think you definitely thought about this and I can see the effort you put into it. Caroline looks beautiful and she’s totally working the fact that she came from brazil. I love it! Besides, she managed to keep a secret in her eyes..like..follow me and see what you’ll find!
Moofins with Andi—I have to say, the editing you did helped a LOT. I really like your concept and I think all the graphics and effects are magical and totally work to create something eye-catching. Andi looks like she can actually dress up and look sophisticated, which is important…and she also is working the whole space with her angles! BUT (always a but
) without our graphics I don’t think I would pick this for a cover based on the other pictures I’ve seen. I LOVE it, but I’m not completely convinced it’s cover material.
Rachyroo with Magda—Absolutely, positively, stunning
! I am so impressed with this! The graphics you added re simple, and even if you hadn’t added them I would still love this just as much. Magdalena, first of all is working that outfit like I cannot BELIEVE! The vibrant colors are so intriguing, and the super-intense, topmodel glare that she’s got going on is just…really really perfect. This is my favorite so far! Nice work, rachy
Marvystone with Malgosia—I’m reeeeally finding myself having to trust your judgement on this one! I just wish you could have found a scanned, clearer version of this image! It took me a while to figure out who it was
I can ABSOLUTELY see that this would be a stunning cover, I can imagine it in my mind’s eye! Malgosia looks graceful and lithe and beautiful. So I see where you’re going, it just drags you down to show it to us in this form.
Larien with Irina—Everybody is doing such an amazing job with this challenge! Larien, I LOVE this.
What I like is that it is unlike the other black and white pictures in that, in Irina’s picture..the black and white are SEVERE and really pop. It’s important for the image to stand out, and the graphics you added only accentuate the already amazing image choice that you made. This has attitude, and is very hip, really young, and Irina looks fun and gorgeous. You did a great job with this!
missDIOR with Luize—What an interesting and fabulous cover choice! Luize looks amazing, there;s no doubt to be had there—with her beautiful profile, soft gaze, flawless skin, and lightly parted lips…I like how SHE looks..without a doubt. I think you turned SC Fr. Into a really eclectic magazine here—like Another or Pop. I like the direction you took with this, I can see that you took a risk. I like it a lot, but in another way I’m not sure if I’m entirely convinced to the cover status of the image. Beautiful, but if its cover-worthy, im undecided
manette with mariya—I like that you gave this a sexy vibe! I had the idea that mariya was a really eclectic quirky girl—which she is---but with this you showed me that she can be sexy and a covergirl too! This is definitely eye-catching and I like that there’s another person in the picture. I’m not sure if I would actually print a picture SO sexy such as this one…I wouldn’t want people to judge the magazine on its cover! So I guess im a little oonflicted and while I love this image, and I think mariya looks amazing..i think it’s iffy cover material.
Masquerade with Raquel—THIS is wonderful! I love the sharpness of the contrast, and I think this image really sends the idea of a magazine that takes risks and features interesting but mysterious things in between its pages. Raquel looks amazing..and she can even work that getup! It’s super-futuristic, which I like, and I think that you took a risk and chose something interesting, but it worked out for you.
Mafiosa with Anja—She looks SO MUCH like stella tenant to me here
I think this is a beautiful picture, I barely recognized anja…which only goes to further prove her versatility. She has attitude and she is definitely fierce, working a look I didn’t know she had in her. I’m a little unsure about a profile image on the cover of a magazine…but for every one of these reviews I’ve been imagining your image on a magazine stand along with all the cosmos and elles, and I think this would stand out—id buy it! Good work.
Manuva with Lara—You took a definite risk using an image that is …sort of creepy!
There’s no denying though..that lara looks amazing! On a shelf, this image would jump out to anyone and all the hippest and most fashion-conscious people would be reading this French sc of ours! I think this picture is super strong, super fashion forward, and fun and crazy and exciting and fun. I’d be worried about the other audience—the kids who would see it next to Nickelodeon magazine or the grannies that wouldn’t really get it
I love it and am conflicted in using it as a cover.
Amelia with Agnes—Agnes is a little nondescript to me in this picture, unfortunately. I englarged the image and still was confused as to who she was
After realizing who it was after a few moments, I was left nonplussed. She seems a little dead and while her clothes and hair and makeup are exciting and beautiful…this picture doesn’t have the sparkle that qould quite merit a cover on French SC. I like your idea but I don’t think it translated correctly in execution
Natasha with Karin—I think this would be a lovely cover! Natasha looks great, and she looks like she is actually interested in something outside of the cover. Her crazy hair adds dynamic to this shot, and with lettering this would certainly be demure enough for any audience to see, and at the same time super high fashion and sophisticated. You didn’t blow me out of the water and this is a little bit safe, but I still think you did a good job and that this works out nicely..!
Mette with suvi—I think this would be a Beautiful cover
I mean, the picture ia little dark for my taste, ligtingwise..but in the proper light that getup..on a cover..would be perfect! That’s not to say, however, that this entry isn’t nearly perfect already! Auvi is totally connecting here with the viewer and she can absolutely work this ensemble to the T. I like her attitude and how raw this picture seems…fabulous job!
