Supermodel Challenge Game Season 5!!

I got McQueen!:woot: So many options with that man! Very interesting challenge...

wow tough challenge this time!can't wait to see what everyone is gonna do!!!

Muiccia Prada muse Georgia Frost

Muiccia loves Georgia's style so much, she based her Spring/Summer 07 collection on her.
With their sleek hair, extra short skirts/dresses showing off their long legs and sexy heels the girls looked jus like Georgia, as you can see from this picture. Georgia also loves experimenting with various materials, especially satin which was prominant in the SS 07 collection.

Magdalena Frackowiak-Michael Kors
Muse

Kors is renowned for his classic, chic, and luxurious but sensible aesthetic on American sportswear and other clothing styles. -Wikipedia

Keeping to his classic style, Michael Kors' fall 08 collection was like a flashback to old hollywood, with the high beehive hairstyles and outfits like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Magda could have been taken straight out of that era, the prim dress and towering hair, she almost looks like she's in the middle of a movie scene.........the perfect muse for the designer.

3.1 Phillip - Lim 33.34.35 Julia Stegner

Juliastegner.co.nr

His designs are simple but chic. Just as Julia, she doesn't care about heavy stylings
He manages to interpret basics new in a modern and classic way. Julia loves to combine cheap and expensive
His designs are a fresh breeze of youthfulness like the H&M of the designer world. Julia is a fresh breeze of natural beauty
Phillip Lim doesn’t try too hard to create new clothes and never gets too
over the top like many other designers do because they want to develop
new trends. Julia doesn’t need to get attention with wearing the most hideous stuff she can found
That doesn't mean that his collections aren’t trendy though! He’s not the most original
designer but his pieces are wearable and feminine and other designers would do us a favour if they would take a leaf out of his book.
Julia doesn’t appear in jogging clothes or potato sacks but she is quite casual when she leaves her apartment in New York.
She’s just herself like
Phlilip Lim

- Kids and grown-ups love him so, the happy Phillip Lim and his simple 0 -

Toughest challenge so far, I’m not very familiar with Phillip Lim
So I hope my entry is not too wrong.
you go! great entry :heart::heart::heart:

I'll get my entry up soon, school has just kept me super duper busy, this week!

Nicholas & Malgosia
icm_mb6.jpg

Move aside Charlotte Gainsbourg and Jennifer Connelly, Malgosia is Nicolas Ghesquière's new muse.

"Ghesquière's short-sharp revolutionary essays in couture technique"
"Ghesquière turns to intensely rich, rarified "explorations" of detail"
"Ghesquière's vision created extraordinary volumes and new proportions"
Malgosia invokes Nicolas Ghesqui'ères vision of Balenciaga, new shapes and volumes, luxury 'techno' fabrics, she is the new 'opulent' and 'elegant' Balenciaga woman. Here particularly she invokes the seasons of 2006 but also looks forward to many countless seasons of Ghesquière creations that will delight women the world over.

Ms. Stone + Heatherette!

Who else but the world famous and eccentric Dutch supermodel Lara Stone (That's Ms. Stone to you!) to be the muse to one of the zaniest and creative brands around? Heatherette a favourite for IT girls as well as fashion revolutionaries Gwen Stefani and MIA has become a highlight for fashion week with it's fun and care free fashion. With bright colours, glitter and a pet ocelot (!) as standard apparel for Ms. Stone it's clear to see why she's a muse.

Relaxing in her luxury jungle summer house with only her ever present Ocelot, Tinkerbell for company and most importantly her baby bottles full of milk for Tinkerbell it's clear to see why Heatherette chose her.

Her hair is perfectly coifed, with a carefully selected butterfly and with beautiful blue and gold make up it's clear Ms. Stone is no regular model!

Mariya presents Chloe

In the 1950s Gaby Aghion, creator of Chloe, introduced a range of light and soft clothing, made of fine and delicate fabric. Completely different to Chloe’s earlier couture and haute couture wear, this more informal clothing ushered in the “prêt-à-porter” market which dominates the fashion world today.

While Chloe has been around for half a century, its style was primarily defined by Stella McCartney in the late 90s and Phoebe Philo from 2001 to 2005. Both McCartney and Philo helped to reinvent Chloe as a “streetwise” yet extremely sexy and romantic label. Today, Chloe is renowned for its flowing fabrics and flirtatious and girly informal pieces which manage to be both elegant and super feminine at the same time.

The Hooligan of English Fashion

Alexander McQueen is a rebel. When taking over the reigns at Givenchy, he dubbed Hubert de Givenchy ‘irrelevant’, and – as legend tells it – he scribbled ‘I am a c*nt’ into the lining of a suit for the Prince of Wales.

His graduate collection was entitled ‘Jack the Ripper Stalking his Victims’, a 1996 collection was named ‘Highland r*pe’ and the runway showed models dressed in bloody, torn lace dresses. Another show famously displayed the models as patients in a psychiatric ward – with heads rapt in bandages, they walked back and forth inside a box in which they could only see their own reflections.
McQueen has an aggressive approach to fashion, no taboo is left untouched and he has frequently been accused of bad taste. ‘Eclectic verging on the criminal’ is how he describes his own work.

But strip away the themed runway shows; the witches and the aliens, the pirates and the Edwardian ladies and what you are left with is out-of-this-world beautiful gowns and razor sharp, brilliant tailoring.
Take away the theatrics and McQueen is not only very wearable, he is fashion at its very best!
In this picture Anja proves to be the perfect McQueen muse; capturing both the crazy, provocative attitude and the beauty of his work.
