Reggae; Far from being the care free nonchalant image, Reggae is one of the most political genres of music with it's bohemian roots, it speaks to it's audience through it's political beliefs; in particular world peace, and isn't afraid to shout it's message through the lyrics and clothes. Mixed with a laid back attitude, and mix and matching of fantastic jewels and military clothes it has become an instantly recognisable style and genre;

Marcel with Julia-- I love this! In a club, dancing along to whatever poppy song…this image works wonderfully and I really like your interpretation

Rachy with magda---im impressed with this entry! It has the carefreeness of country music, and yet still maintains a fashiony edge. Magda looks great!

Hfgl with caroline—you made such a good point about how lots of rappers today wear really preppy garb! The picture is a little boring but I think you did a nice job.

Marvystone with malgosia—this picture is intense and eye catching and really fierce! I love the spirit that this picture captures, nice interpretation.

Mafiosa with anja—ooh, lovely! Anja just looks pissed off and ready to rock Excellent job.

Moofins with andi—good choice for a genre! This picture is a little hot topic-y but I think it works.

Manuva with lara—I am obsessed with this photo! Very impressive, very accurate, I love it a lot!

Alright girls, we're down to the final 6.
Congratulations on making it this far!

For this challenge, the first thing that came to mind was route 66. It was basically the first American federal routes, it originally ran from Chicago to Los Angeles and now is no longer in existence.
So, Your girls are going on a ROAD TRIP!
These are your only guidelines.
do what you will with this, just make it creative. Obviously, lara you can use whichever photos you like, but everyone else can only use editorials and covers.
Good luck! Prove to me that you deserve a spot in the top 5!

Runaway Bride!

In true Lara style she's doesn't just go on a road trip for the sheer fun of it, she's a runaway bride in need of a speedy exit!
After a cheap wedding in Vegas, that she was thisclose to getting married, Lara decides to escape; and dressed in her finest bridal wear, who wouldn't want to pick up this hitch hiker decked in couture for a wild trip around America?

Road Trip

Julia came to Germany to visit her family to
Easter but what she found there was some bad weather
that's why she decided to not travel with a plane
on her way back to New York and take the old cabrio from
her sister. On her way back to New York she decided to go
on a small trip because she didn't see any sunshine on
her whole journey. Finally. She wanted to wait a minute
to enjoy the sun and the blue skye and feel
the warm breeze. She escaped succesfully.

Hitchin' A Ride

Exhausted, Magda lies slumped by the side of the road.
She's been travelling for miles, hitching her way to a destination unknown.
Her hair, drenched from the persistant rain, wearing a dress fashioned out of plastic she has gathered.
Why is she hitching her way on this road trip, of sorts, and come to loose her clothes? Who knows, but lets hope she gets there soon.​

The only way to road trip is to feel the wind in your hair and the road running between your two wheeler, Malgosia is as tough as any biker in her Balenciaga heels. On the motorbike it ain't simply about getting from A to B, its about freedom...she just needs to get out of the bike park and get going.
