shirlee - i think that your perception of the skirt length is a cultural thing...
*it;'s dowdy housewife to you...as you say..
but i see japanese women wearing skirts that length with flat shoes and looking super cool...without a whif of that housewife thing...
it's maybe dowdy...but it;s dowdy chic..in the same way that prada sometimes is...
i really believe that it is often a matter of cultural references which guide our individual perspectives...
frankly...i am with you...and often find the fabric laden skirts that are common to the cdg universe to be a bit difficult to carry...
but personally...
i find a circle skirt (a la comme) easier for most women to pull off than a fishtail ( a la junya)...
and i think that the narrow knickerbocker pants in this collection are actually really adorable and fun!...not really challenging in any way...
i agree with you
mullet - the organza pieces are the ones which capture my attention most...
with the striped pieces coming in second...
florals are always going to be a hard sell with me...
*now THAT is what reads dowdy housewife to ME...
