The one with Meghan is the newsstand cover as well, you must've seen it out already, Tigerrouge
I know, I was so just full of joy that I hadn't received the recycled shot of Meghan as seen on the newsbait cover, which was the exact reason why I'd slung my unopened subscription copy to the side for days.
The subscription shot might be tacky, but it contains so many more references to what Tatler is all about.
Given the state of December issues across the UK newsstand, this magazine is the only one I've resubscribed to, and I never thought I'd say that about Tatler. But it's the only one acting as if glamour isn't something to be ashamed of.
'Arty' Vogues are dime a dozen, and most of them seem to have taken a distance-learning course about how to look like the Italian version. Meanwhile, the Italian version seems to embody the mindset of a fortysomething man trying to relive his best days, which were decades ago at art college, when being derivative was an expected phase that you'd eventually grow out of.
If magazines these days can't give me impossible dreams, then just give me glamour and putting on a good face.
