I love owl tattoos too! I have a rather large blue ghostly owl sitting on an open book on my upper arm. I have a feeling I'll eventually get another owl (owls are my fav animal and have been since I was a kid)

Those are mine.

1. Cogito Ergo Sum, which means "I think therefore I am" in latin
2. πατέρας which means "father" in greek. It's a homage to him.
3. A photograther pin up girl with a banner saying "the times they are a-changin' ", a bob dylan song.
4. A globe with the number 1 next to it. I got it in Buenos Aires. The 1 stands for it being my first trip alone, my first time outside Brazil and the first time i got into an airplane. The globe is my wish to travel more and more.
5. The first one I ever got. I was 14. Thought it was cute and I still do.
6. 3 tattoos there. A lot to explain. Kinda boring to do so, so I just leave the picture.

I have a question and I know it's probably been asked a million times before, but do tattoos really hurt? Can someone describe the pain? I've been putting it off for so long, but I'm going to get one in the next few months. I have yet to decide what to get, though.

The pain's different for everyone and depends on what spot you get it in but for me in general it feels like being burned with a lighter. Not hot just what that would feel like if you took the temperature out of it lol it's hard to explain

yes it's kind of painful, more or less.
but when compared to the urge of getting the tatt, and the final result, it's really nothing.
so if you've made up your mind, just go ahead, i say.

my feet look weird lol. they still have abit of ink on them and the pen mark.. the pain is hard to describe, its like a sharp stinging pain..

Bacata i actually didnt know there was a song with This Too Shall Pass in it! i love the saying. i once heard it about 3 yrs ago in a movie and i thought wow what a deep quote and its soo true! I am already thinking of other things to get done lol. i might add beautiful patterns next to it later on.
