haha, i don't think she's trolling us.
both the striped top and jeans she's worn tonnes before. and she's always done this layering, mash-up schtick. i agree the "mistake" in this outfit could be overkill though: putting the pleated dress or trench (?) under the peacoat may be too much, and i don't think she needs the star scarf either.
but sometimes the risks and layers work and i like seeing how she pulls off crazy combos - or even not. this one
