ok french speakers, could you translate this:

je reprends la route demain

I _____ the road tomorrow? or something like that? what does reprends mean?

thank you darlings.

I'm not french but reprendre means 'to take again' (prendre=to take, re-=again), so the sentence would mean something like 'I take the road again tomorrow'. Hope that makes sense.
My french isn't good so wait til someone who speaks it well confirms it :flower:

It really depends on the context. It could be literal, like someone is on a trip/journey and they are saying they will get back on the road tomorrow, or it could be more like "I'll get back on track tomorrow". Depends what it's in reference to.

"...the village - whose name means: St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of St Tysilio of the red cave"

It would be : I'm on the road again tomorrow... Something like that.

Haha actually we have a tongue-twister in our dialect which ain't that simple either... :p

Here it is:

- Tì che te tàcchet i tàcch, ta ma tàcchet i tàcch a mì che tàcchi no i tàcch?
- Mì taccàt i tàcch a tì? Tàcchess tì i tò tàcch!

Pronounciation (apostrophes indicates that the syllables preceding them are the stressed ones):

- Tee keh-teh-tuck'-et ee-tuck', tah-mah-tuck'-et ee-tuck' ah-mee' keh-tuck'-ee noh-ee-tuck'?
- Mee-tuck-aht' ee-tuck' ah-tee'? Tuck-***-tee' ee-toh-tuck'!

Meaning, more or less:

- Since you know how to fix shoe-heels, could you fix my heels? 'cause I can't.
- Me fixing your heels? You fix your heels by yourself!

Which of course is very silly, but the pronounciation (particularly when done very quickly) is quite fun :p...and besides, it doesn't sound like any other language I've ever heard actually...
