anyway, here's the letter we had to write. Please, don't mind the content, it's very silly, but the topic was just so silly to make me write that

Sehr geeherter Bürgermeister von Köln,

möchte ich am Wettbewerb für die Reklame von Köln teilnehmen. Als ich Ausländerin bin, habe ich einen anderen Weltanschau, neue Idee und finde ich mich die beste Person diesen Wettbewerb zu gewinnen.

Für die Reklame habe ich dieses Foto gewählt. Es zeigt den Dom und die amerikanischen Soldaten die neben den Ruinen spazerien. Dieses Foto hat alles - die Stimmung, die Klasse und die uralte Bann, die die anderen Fotos haben nicht. Es ist wirklich ein Foto, das die Touristen anziehen wird. Es ist ein Brocken der Geschiche. Die Leute wollen nicht nur ihren Stadt als die perfekte Stadt sehen. Köln hat alles überstanden. Die gute und die schlechte Zeiten. Es ist wichtig sich wirklich kennen zu lernen - und die Geschichte der Stadt ist ein wichtigen Brock dieses Prozess.

Ich hoffe, dass ich Sie überzeugen habe und ich werde das Wettbewerb gewinnen. Aber das ist nicht am wichtigsten. Die wichtigste ist, dass die Kölner sich kennen zu lernen.

lol you're welcome. my spanish isn't very good, but a few examples: "um" in spanish is "un", "elegância" is "elegancia", "coleção" is "colección", "sua" is "su", "hoje" is "hoy"...

a (bad) translation (because i'm sleepy) could be "a model of elegance, she shows here a 88 collection by givenchy and reviews her life, which today she enjoys in the peace of the contryside"

yeah, neither tilde (~) over vowels (used to indicate nasalization in portuguese), just over N to produce a sound that in portuguese is written with NH.

i just have one more question. what is acinturada? does it mean loose? it's describing a jacket. it's part of this magazine article i am trying to get translated. i'm just looking for the info on Givenchy and skip the Audrey stuff.
