Teen Vogue February 2006: Gemma Ward

Atleast someone's gonna go up. I was hoping Daria or Doutzen (randomply picked hot girl) were the ones crowned by a US publication, but a semi-famous models is a relief to me.

WEll, Daria wouldn't exactly be a good fit on a Teen Vogue cover, she looks more mature as opposed to Gemma's lovely baby face. Doutzen, I am not a huge fan of. I will never understand why she is a high fashion model. She really looks better on a VS runway.

her outstretched arm on the cover looks horrible. so boney, they should have picked another shot

i also dont like that they did this in a teen magazine. the girls who read these are usually middle school aged, its not the best impression to put on them

Haha, well it's better than putting Hana on the cover (and I love her so I can say this about her)...

I actually consider Gemma's arms to be very round and soft for a model...

Gemma Ward is defintly my favourite model. Michelle - where are you? Im surprised she has'nt commented here...

And yeh eightyeightkeys i agree: gemma does seem to have round arms.

i'm glad they put gemma on the cover. she's a nice person with her feet on the ground, as well as a great model. her look is versatile, and almost plain. it shows young girls that they can become anything they want even IF they think they are average. gemma stumbled into modeling and discovered a huge world of opportunity. it's a good story for inspiring young girls.
