Teen Vogue December 2007 : Natalie Portman

I guess it's not really her age that surprises me as for the choice of the cover-star (although it's true that most of their stars are way younger, but they had Gwen Stefani on cover in the past) but mostly the 'type' of star, I mean Teenvogue generally gets associated in my head with pop culture and 'young hollywood' (and by 'young hollywood' you know what I mean), not with serious indie wannabe actress.

Yeah sorry, I don't want to sound too 'high brow' but most of the films she appeared in aren't really 'indie' per se , but she seems to be the kind of actress that doesn't want to be categorized as the 'young hollywood' type mostly because her acting skills allows her to make a difference and because she keeps a low profile most of the time and also , I have to admit that some of her films are not as 'horrendous' as most Hollywood films.

I mean I would put Johnny Depp in the same category although he did start out as being one.
