i dont understand why she would do playboy? she's such an ethereal, delicate beauty-the playboy ed does nothing for her.
I guess people do all sorts of things whilst they still can.

well...
i don't like her any less because she posed naked...
but all i'm saying is that posing for playboy magazine is
very vulgar...and as a woman...it's very humiliating..
but i do agree that she did this for money...
lack of culture...most probably...
i'm perfectly aware that her country
is poor...
as to judging her...we all do judge models...
they are famous so that's a risk they take...
we don't have to embrace and support every decision that
our idols make...we have to criticize aswell...
as to turn down an ed...
well...that's a tough one...but
there are actually people that are capable
of being loyal to their principles...
and i admire them for that...
tetyana is just human...
and unfortunatly most models would
well make vulgar eds...etc...
i just get a bit said cause it's like a sign that they aren't very smart...
sometimes i think they are empty bodies....

i completely disagree with everything you've said:huh: . I guess you must find the naked form discusting, and something to be ashamed of. I certainly dont think the playboy spread a sign that tetyana isnt very smart, i think first of all she is secure in her body and secondly if she felt humiliated she wouldnt have accepted the job in the first place:rolleyes:. What you've said about her country being poor is ignorant and rude. "Lack of culture" give me a break...

I agree with you Sweets!!!!!! I do also think that she must be secure and confident enough with her body to want to pose for Playboy. The naked form can be something beautiful, inspiring, and stunning if the one paricipating in the picture is secure, willing, and confident enough in herself, the situation, and photographer.

Cindy Crawford was the first model to pose for Playboy (many thought that she would 'lower' her image, and completly mess up her modeling career). Cindy, though, was confident enough to share the form of her body, with a photograher she completly trusted and felt much respect for (Herb Ritz), and I must say the pictures came out abs. STUNNING.

In no way was she portrait as 'cheap' a 'sl*t' or 'overly vulgar'. You could see that she was comfortable in the pictures and Mr. Ritz did an outstanding job with his photography. Cindy also reached a new demographic of fans (a male audience..which was outside of 'high fashion' and 'runway') which enabled her to expand her modeling career to MTV, more Tv. appearances, movies, videos, calendars, and some people even say Mr. Richard Gere ^_^ (I think thats one reason Cindy continues to be my favorite model ). After Cindy many models followed including Elle next, and models still continue to follow.

Nude pictures are nothing to be ashamed of as long as you are completly confident, sure, willing, prepared, and secure enough to pose for them. Some of the most beautiful and capturing pictures include nude pictures (they are not derogatory, explicit, or 'ugly') if done in a classy, artisit manner. Yes they might not be for everyone but lets not scrutinize the people who DO decided to make them. I respect and honor everyones opinion, and I hope that everyone can be at least willing enough to accept different peoples opinions as well, or at least mature enought to respect them. :flower:

Sweets, I think you missed what morbidexistence's point.

I think he/she has never mentioned the naked body as disgusting or shameful, but merely that Playboy photoshoots are (perhaps not overly vulgar but) just vulgar  .

to clarify, this is what i particularly object to.

to fill her pocket with money?

Sweets, thanks for clarifying. :flower:

I have to agree with this:

"human sexuality and nudity are not shameful"

:D

Vulgarity and beauty are certainly two things that are very opinionated - in the eye of the beholder.
