I dont think there is anything wrong with her doing the silly runway she did, I dont think she is supposed to be taken seriously either... I find it fun. I dont think Paris clawed her way up there- it was probably a proposition that she accepted that gave much publicity to the brand and her... an even exchange...

A big part of an unknown model's life is who you know. If you run into the right photographer or designer they can make you a star. Celebrities and socialites mingle with these people every day.....and money talks,having it makes all the difference in the world when it comes to backing a photographer or designer.

^^i agree. also being a socialite is not necessarily bad.....i'm sure there are lots of good socialities out there as well....having money doesn't necessarily make u evil...sure having money without working for it is not fair....but that's just the way it turned out, having money isn't everything. anyway, in spite of their connections, none of these so-called "socialite models" are even really that famous, comprared to "true" models like daria werbowy, kate moss, gisele etc.
