US Vogue July 2003 : Demi Moore by Mario Testino

I don't see what's wrong with it at all...Could you tell me a bit clearer why you 'hate' it so much?

it didn't really appeal to me but i certainly wasn't offended by it or think it was ugly...the images are beautiful and the clothes are as well.

she wasn't criticizing...the link doesn't work for me either. it says "too many redirects..."

anyhow, i went directly to bwgreyscale and i liked this ed too...the pic of eugenia in gucci is stunning. i've seen waaaaaaayyyyy worse eds that this in marie claire or elle.
I agree, that picture...though nothing photographically new or groundreaking...is a gorgeous picture. I had it plastered on my wall for months

I think Eugenia looks awesome in Gucci in that pic, it should be plastered on every bedroom wall  . I don't think they had that "Venus in fur" theme when they were shooting for that particular editorial. Steven Meisel was probably looking for a sensual and sexual appeal in the models and :crush:  Eugenia Volodina :crush:  definitely had it both! if there's anything to blame, just blame the editor of that editorial for a sleezy headline. (try "lady with a mole" for another "effective headline  ;) ) The "Shape of Things" Editorial has been reprinted in Australian Vogue, i guess that proves it success.

and yes, i have seen far worse editorials too!

BTW, i dont think "Styling for dummies" would be a good name for editorial!

Vogue July 2003 - the pic someone said is aweful! I think it's fabulous! 2 thumbs up + toes up!

that was a good ed, sp. the pic with liya in electric blue, thigh-high leather boots...

i cannot stand any mcdean ed in us vogue... they're so bland, boring
