I don't know what that means, but what I have also realised is that people who follow your blog privately will not show up on your homepage, so you may have even more followers than you thought!
there are different ways to subscribe to a blog
it's nice to use Google Reader or even Google Alerts --many services are out there
because if you like to read several blogs daily, it will send you all the new posts as an e-mail or in a list via Google Reader

there is also this RSS button by the URL bar --it's a blue button with a kind of sonar wave icon
for subscribing

Hey tfs'ers!

I started my blog a few months ago...
I occasionally post my own sketches and designs,
cover fashion week shows, analyze trends, streetstyle, and What I Wore Today.
also store reviews, window visual display features,
cover cool music and overall just have a lot of fun with it

i'm working on a bunch of new features for this spring!

check it out and let me know what you think!

how do i add a counter to my blog? i have no subscribers yet :(

Posey: I use statcounter.com :)

Same here! While I haven't used any other counters that much, I've been very pleased with the features I get on statcounter for free! ^_^ Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a good free counter... it does so much more than just count your page hits! :flower:

I use histats.com and I don't know any other features they offer beside visitors counter :p

modern Antoinette I've checked out your blog. love it. I've linked you, btw :flower:

... you get Feedjit, it tells you how people are viewing your site ...

I have Feedjit but am totally shocked by the amount of spam it brings in since I've added it! :o Not that it's any big deal to simply delete the spam comments file but I'm talking it went from a few to 50+ per day!

For those who've used either, or both, would StatCounter be a better tool (for the purpose of watching readership grow...) ?

Ah that's a shame. Nothing like that has happened to me as yet, and I'm finding it really useful to see where people are coming from. Are you able to identify where the spammers are coming from? I use Stat Counter as well for more depth.

Really? Wow. I get like 1 or 2 spam comments a month, and I use StatCounter, so yeah, I would definitely recommend you try StatCounter out! :flower:

Yeah! Statcounter is really nice and it's free! You can get a pro though... but the free one is working well for me. :)

I'm new! finally here :)

I love fashion, but I take a very unique and practical approach to it. I've started a site for fashion tips/deals/style ideas. Pretty much a magazine for normal people, on a limited budget

Technically a blog, but mainly the home of Style Sample Magazine, a digital magazine for and about fashion bloggers:
