im always looking for a decent everyday wear / comfortable shoe in the summer, i think i've found a pair for this year:

I saw these today in the Miu Miu store and they are stunning. They definitely stood out from all the others.

The sparrow platforms rocknrollqueen posted were not available and the SA wasn't sure whether they were going to be in the store or available only through a department store...

I really want both pairs...

Those colorful Louboutins are interesting... they remind me of a subdued version of those lego-colored Balenciagia's from a little while back.

My SA at Miu Miu told me they received some with crystals - I'm guessing similar to the ones rocknrollqueen posted - and sold for approx. £900. I've waitlisted myself for the same pair (pink with bird prints) without crystals and closed back (like the yellow pair rocknrollqueen posted).

Frostelized - they were £1,200, so approx. $1,855? It's a good thing the British pound is down

I walked in them yesterday and they're deceivingly high. I was told 135mm and they easily feel as high as my 140mm CL's. They crystals are not as gaudy, or low-hanging as one would originally think.
Ultimately I decided against 'em (double the $ of the others) b/c I'm wait-listed everywhere for a pair of the clear clogs (source: neimanmarcus)

Serenity*Now - Thanks for the info! They really don't look very high, surprised to hear otherwise. Do they run true-to-size or did they have just the one pair displayed? I ordered my usual Prada size, I hope they fit... Now that you've mentined how high they are, the clear clogs look quite high themselves esp. without the platform?

I read somewhere that someone received press samples of the shoes and a lot of the crystals fell off (!). However I spoke to the SA and they told me that they've had customers try the display pair and no such thing happened and in the case it should, I can always send them for repair. It's not like they're meant to be worn day in and day out lol

Yes, the run true to size.
The pair that was displayed is ready to go if anyone is a size 8.5/38.5
They had a few pair of the pink clogs with the ribbon tied in front. The naturale clogs that I want are 110mm so they're not as high but they did not have any in-in fact, Prada in BH wasn't getting many in at all-best bet is Neimans and Saks because their look books already show that they're getting quite a few and what sizes are allocated to which stores; the latter already having a few of the plexiglass (the black trim ones) from Prada's s/s in already.

Im inlove with those Alexander McQueen. I know I wouldn't wear them to walk the streets, but I just wanna know what does it feels like to walk on those awesome shoes. It must be incredible
