Sizing...
They are in whole size only. I normally wear size 5 for Manolo pumps, 5.5 or 6 for Louboutins and my Lanvin pumps are size 5, so if you are half sizes I'd say round it DOWN. If you are whole sizes just stick with your true size. They are not narrow at all compared to Louboutins, and the patent leather is very soft. The shoes are very comfortable considering the height and the heels are sturdy and stable. The quality is also very nice.

i finally managed to see those gucci maryjanes. they're pretty awful irl. the toe is bad, and i like my shoes to have a decent cleavage wich those are surely missing. but i got myself the first pair of ss shoes, from marc by mj. they're the ones i was mostly looking forward to:

i've found them in venice, in a quite small but lovely shoe stop that's right in front of the chanel boutique (if you're familiar with venice you'll know where it is, right by pza san marco)
i cant remember exactly how much they were, but they were around 300something euros. i think browns has them on their online store, but im not sure if they have them in black aswell. they come in black patent, red patent and glittery pink

Oh, thanks! I'm not at all familiar with Venice and have no plans to go there unfortunately so I'll have to check out browns online.

eta: I'd never heard of browns, but I just checked and they have great selection. I love the glitter pink version! Unfortunately I can't afford most of the stuff on there.

caff, please tell me more about your Lanvin's now that you've had them for a while? I decided to try the navy patent ones since they are 40% now. I love the shoe, its got classic undernotes but still has such a seedy bad girl side to it. I ordered a 37 based on your recommendations but I'm usually a 36.5 in most European pumps.

really psyched about these, I've had my hopes up to find them on sale.

caf, I tried them on in the store and decided they were too high and got the wavy prada's instead. the blue patent was fabulous though, some lucky lady bought them I'm sure.

^ you're right. the Lanvins are HIGH. Mine arrived yesterday and i have no idea how i'm going to walk in them! It's too much of an effort for me to send them back haha. But they are quite comfy to just stand in lol. they are truly massive shoes. i'm not sure that they were the smartest purchase but oh well. I still love them.
