Well, actually, she has walked more shows than she should have for a girl of 14... even though she has just turned 15, many designers broke the 16 years old "rule" when hiring Thairine for their shows during last fw when she was only 14; so don't worry, she's not fading at all, she's been actually doing more than expected. She's already all over her country, booked more ad campaigns than any other girl in Brazil this year, and as far as international covers and editorials, I'll guess we'll have to wait until she turns 16 to see her working again with any other Vogue. I think this is Anna Sui campaign, and the fact she walked her last show, are actually nice surprises since I remember the designer herself cancelled Thairine at last minute during her 1st NY season because of the MJ controversy.

Thairine Garcia (born December 9, 1992 in Taquarituba, Brasil) is a professional fashion model from Brazil. She started modelling in her home country at age 13. There was some commotion around her when she began working internationally because of her age. Vogue had pledged to stop using models who were under the age of 16 and broke that promise the same year when Thairine appeared in Vogue Japan (her Vogue Italia cover was just before the pledge).

She has walked in fashion shows for names such as Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Richard Chai, Peter Som, Yigal Azrouel, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Academy of Art University & Theyskens' Theory.

She has done campaign work for Lanca Perfume, ATeen, Cris Barros, FIT, NK Store, Cholet, Pat Bo, Anna Sui, C&A, Tufi Duek, Carlos Miele, Saks, Osklen & Alexandre Herchcovitch.

She has appeared in editorials for Elle Brasil, Follow, Marie0Claire Brasil, Harper's Bazaar Brasil, Vogue Italia, V Magazine & Vogue Japan.
