^^ I believe US has the money. In excess.

Cannot wait for tomorrow!!! 3 games a day finally! Its gonna be tough when we reach
the 3rd round, they wil choose only one game to broadcast live, since all three will be played at the same time, to avoid unfair bets and wins.

but to say they've just heard of football is crazy!

you'd know what i mean if you were from the old continent. some thing just cant be explained im afraid. like the meaning of the word "just" in my sentence.

:D

ooh and btw, aussies are going down on sunday!!! Cant wait to see Germany take over:heart:

SA tickets were up for grabs in the concacaf, that's why the US is there.. replacing Trinidad & Tobago, a WC regular.. that must've been too busy doing something else to let the US take their place.

This is the fourth consecutive World Cup qualifying cycle in which the U.S. and T&T have faced off, and the sixth overall since 1985. The U.S. holds a 10-1-2 record in qualifying against Trinidad & Tobago.

the good old continent complex .
suddenly I feel like rooting for the US.

England 1- USA 2 (but none of them by Donovan :zorro:).
teach them what new blood smells like. yeaaahhhhh!.

eta: interesting, I remember seeing T&T in the last two cups, hedur.. but years fly.

no one's debating that. but the point is they don't put it towards football.

for example, our fairly new league, the MLS, has salary caps. players don't make millions like they do overseas. or like the basketball and american football players do in the US.

I loved SouthAfrica's goal, it was absolutely amazing. Tomorrow I'm rooting for Nigeria and England, although I highly doubt that Nigeria will win -_-! Can't wait for Sunday :bounce: Deutschland :buzz:

I still have a headache from the horns.

I wonder if England are going to regret not bringing Walcott (yum) and who is going to be at the goal post (please no calamity James).

Rooney should score.

cheering for Netherlands, Italy and England on this cup, but i expect the most from the Netherlands!

US's gonna win tomorrow, IMO.

can't believe I didn't know about this thread  I've been working too much

anyways, it would be nice if Brazil won :p I miss the celebration, everyone out in the streets... it's so nice when we win. I'd also be really happy to see any African team win. They're fighters! I love it.

As for US vs. England, I'd bet on England to win.

Woah so pumped for the World Cup!
I'm getting really anxious for tomorrow's match (Argentina - Nigeria). I really wanna see how Argentina's gonna present itself in this competition.

Well I'll be supporting Australia even though they are the massive underdogs. I'm just so happy that Monday just happens to be a public holiday so waking up at 4:00AM isn't going to be too bad.

pff those are some hopes!.
It's France's way or the highway when it comes to soccer, look how they got there in the first place... I don't think Uruguayan players even know the dirty tricks needed to give France a headache.

Sorry Maud, Berlin, or any other French member reading. I'm sure you know it already. and pride on it.

I tought that "La Garra Charrua" was going to do a better job, but I guess old habits die hard, and they ended with 10 :doh: and Henry wasn´t a starter so I don´t think they used tricks this time . By the way SA so close, I think they deserved the victory, Mexico had the ball, but never created chances of scoring :innocent:, unlike SA they were vertical and fast. The first goal was a master piece I think, let´s go BAFANA BAFANA B)

England needs to win today so that US will be crushed when they play against Slovenia.:D

2-0 for SK.
TBH I am glad that Greece is losing. they are so boring to watch and their whole game is based on defence.

So now they are screwed cause they will need to score some goals. But don't think t*ts gonna happen

i'm sad Greece is loosing, at least the game is nice to watch, unfortunately i missed the first half:(
sad that the stadium is so empty

Vamos, vamos Argentina,
vamos, vamos a ganar,
que esta barra quilombera,
no te deja, no te deja de alentar!!!!
