Is there anything you can to do "restore" the color on your b-bag? I carreid my pewter city during my Hawaii trip (I was VERY careful with my bag). When I got home, I was very SHOCKED to see some color at corner of the bottom "piping" was rubbed off (or disappeared) Has this ever happened to you guys? Is there anything can be done? Or I just have to accept the fact that I no long have a perfect bag? HELP!!! Thanks in advance.

Wonder if any of you know whether the Giant city B-bag comes with the leather strings that are traditional to the Classic city? I like the gold rivets but also like the many strings that are attached to the city. With the gold rivets, the strings may be a bit too much. I have not had a chance to see the Giant city in person yet, what do you all think? Thanks for your feedback. I love B-bag and looking to get the giant city in Aquamarine.

To Houston angel,
One option is to have it repaired by Balenciaga if the situation is bad. I have a bubblegum pink city and I also take very good care of it; however, the leather pipings at the edge get dirty and loose the color. I have talked to Balenciaga in Paris and they said that it can be repaired by the factory in Italy by replacing the leather. Of course, they have to look at it and give you estimate. This process will take some time so I would only consider this if you go to Paris a lot and the leather gets really bad. Another option in US is to go to a cobbler shop, to have them touch up but you know that it will not be the same. Pewter is a hard color to duplicate. I would not do this. I do know that some folks have done touchup to their bag, but it is more of a basic color. Hope this helps you with option.

i only think the giant hardware works on some colors...
it looks pretty good on the aquamarine...

the giant bags don't come with the strings on the outer pocket, only the large zip pocket...
personally i think having the extra strings is too much with the big hardware...

it was either the vert deau or aquamarine i picked the first

Just think that the GH makes the bag terribly heavy. And the light weight was what I liked so much about Balenciaga contrary to Chloé and MJ.

is it normal for there to be a HUGE price difference between USA and EU? THe balenciaga mask sunglasses are $575usd in NY, and 325EURO including VAT in europe.

ugh. went to barneys today and they didn't have anything! saw a blue TORY BURCH in the quilty boxy satchel and was so close to getting it but really....i don't own any blue bags (yet) and maybe that blue isn't my kind of blue. i almost let impulse take over me!

o i forgot to add....has anyone seen a day in the new taupe? i've been wanting one for a while...saw plenty of whites today in the giant hobo. blehh. i think the strap is too long...well when i carried it, it felt like the actual bag should be bigger =/

Hi, thanks everybody for the answer on the aquamarine bag w/ GH. That color is truly beautiful. I see so many variation of that color, but it's still very nice. It's the best color in this season's collection, IMO.
Clureciala, you have such a beautiful collection.

just me i used a brown weekender as a day back once...the only thing is since the strap is so short it kinda hurt after a while bc the bag is bigger and heavier..i'll try to find my old pics

i think it was pretty hard to carry it on the shoulders before, but balenciaga made the straps longer for spring...
