I just carried my new bag for the first time, I was shopping in Soho, NYC... at least 10 people, some of them working in stores complimented the bag.... One person even stopped me on the street to ask the brand and where you can buy it.

I've heard that the bbags are less in Paris than in the US. Does anyone know how much less? I'm going to be in paris in december and was hoping to pick one up if it's going to be less.

I got the yellow, I it so much! When I was in Barney's last Sunday, they had 2 other clutches black and biege, both with gold hardware. Of course that was 6 days ago, at a store like Barneys in NYC, it's different everyday.

Lots of bright colors, how exciting ;o) but...

The Magenta looks a lot like the LE Magenta Cities...so much for being Limited Edition. Should have called them Pre-Release Cities or something like that.

Wow, I actually like the bubblegum Reminds me of rose or lilac from fw04. The yellow is... bright, not bad though. The sky blue is a little boring and similar to other blues me thinks, although I do like the contrast with the zippers being lighter. Turquoise is nice, but when you look at it all you think is how it's not quite as amazing as 05 turquoise.
RealDeal, you're spot on about the Magenta, they seem quite similar. It's not amazing either, but over all the colors are bright and happy, looking forward already.

First timer w/ Balenciaga..looking for a friend

Hello All...
I am really looking forward to making my first Balenciaga purchase. I have been reading through your posts for several weeks trying to get a better idea of which bag and color may suit me for my first go around.... I really do love the city bag as the size seems good for any everyday bag...is the giant city much bigger? As for colors, I would like to steer clear of black or brown and possibly seek out a fabulous deep purple....

As this will be my first, I would love your assistance, suggestions, SA recommendations (I am in CA and am not opposed to calling NY for a fabulous SA), etc.
