Also, is 2002 first without a strap worth buying?

I have a white twiggy from 05, and the leather has gotten better with age.
However, it has started to turn a very light grey too, or I may just be being picky, but some care is needed to keep it pristine.
Also colour transfer from jeans can happen, but I manage to rectify the damage by using Appleguarde.

As for the '02 - it really depends on the price, but ideally I would hold out for one with the strap as I believe the strap was also longer in the older Balenciagas.

hello girls
ive been browsing these days as usual as i love looking at everyones new purchases
so i checked selfridges today and they had the bugglegum pink city with gold hardware but no yellow yet.
i did want a bubblegum with gold but my friend wasnt impressed with it so he didnt want me to get it.. oh well..
so i have myname down for a yellow work.. will see how that goes.
are there any pictures of the yellow work around by any chance pls ?

leyla I saw a picture of a yellow work in the purse forum balenciaga reference section, couldnt tell you exactly where though but im guessing under the yellow color guide.

So ordering from Balenciaga NY didnt work out as they didnt allow me to ship it to an address thats different from my billing address (my mom lol). So I tried Saks in NY but they said they didnt sell Balenciagas?? Does anyone know of a department store that does sell them over the phone?

leyla i just saw the pink bals in las vegas, too and was not impressed with them at all. the color's cute and all but the leather is not as good =( it was too shiny for my taste. i am waiting for the yellow, too now. when is BAL going to improve their quality control is what i really wonder =(

Fashionpoison, thanks for the info. I did see the new Magenta as well as Bubblegum Cities in Barneys and Balenciaga Hong Kong. But Bal HK didn't have any Day Bags because the style is not popular.
Anyway, I was wondering out loud about the LE Magenta, which was supposed to be a color from the last Fall...? I think I like the color is different(???) and looking from the pics of TPF, I somehow like the LE color better.

leyla, i've only seen pics of yellow with giant hardware...
from what i've read at thepurseforum, the yellow is more of a flourescent tone, very bright...
