I've been off the boards for a while, but today saw a girl with (I think) a black brief bag for GGH. The brief bag is kind of shaped like an egg right (larger on the bottom)? Does anyone know the retail price for it and whether it fits on the shoulder easily?

^^ That's the Giant Work and the retail is $1725. It doesn't have a shoulder strap, but thin girls can get the handles onto their shoulders, but after it's broken-in and the leather is slouchier more girls can get it on their shoulders ;o)

i would suggest either the city or the part time then...
both come with giant silver hardware and a shoulder strap...
the city is $1,595 and measures 15 x 10 x 3.5
the part-time is $1,645 and measures 16 x 9 x 6

dulci, there are two great pinks this spring, bubblegum and pale magenta...
a city or a first makes a great size for a first bbag...

imp/uniq- AMAZING BAGS!

i saw this color for the first time irl on thursday and it is off the wall! there is NO WAY to capture this color on film, so if you can see it irl take the trip just to take a look at it. it is drop dead. the one i saw was pretty lame in the leather (smooth and plastic-y) and it STILL looked grand.

Uniq - your part-time is gorgeous, hmm...I think my next Bal bag should be a part-time??
Dulci - get the bubblegum for your cousin! The pale magenta leather seems pretty hit or miss..and a lot of the bags that I have seen IRL or in pics of the magenta seem to have veiny leather.
Bubblegum on the other hand, seems more consistent and it would be a great colour in a city!

PrincessImp and Kimar thank you so much for your inputs! I was torn between the bubblegum and the pale magenta...She already has a box and a first size both in dark colours i think in a purple and one in a green....and I know she just loves pink so much...and went crazy over my magenta 05.

hey babe, you owe me a pm and not to confuse you, but if she likes pink , do the new magneta. it has more oompf than the new b gum pink. i had my bgum 05 pink with me, and compared the three colors. new bgum is pale-ish, and if i didnt know the color names, i would say new magenta popped more like old b gum 05 pink.B)
