im on this with you guys. i find the silver extremeley cheap looking. as much as the gold is tacky, that would be the only reason i'd like the giant hardware...

i was at a baby shower this weekend and one of the girls had the new hobo in cream with the shiny gold hardware - it was def eye catching. she said she has just gotten it so it was all nice and clean but i would be kinda scared of taking it out. in other news, i also saw an older hobo in black at filene's of all the places - it was def cheaper than retail but i dont know if i loved it. should i get it?? trying to save up for a major purchase in the summer but i have hard time resisting good deals...

Thank you ! I agonized over a white one or an aquamarine one, but the aquamarine took my breath away and I figure if I love it as much as I think I'm going to, I can always get white later.

filene's is notorious for having older bbag styles that are hard to find...

I agree , I think I made an exceptional choice.

I'm agreeing with everyone on the giant silver hardware also. I'm not a gold hardware type person but balenciaga's is so loud that it's actually fun. I'm not liking the silver at all.

I saw an anthracite weekender today for the first time, it is such a beautiful color. I am thinking about picking one up, but I don't have a black bbag and I feel like that should be my next one. thoughts?

i ordered the twiggy in anthracite because the color is just to die for...
i saw the work at susan in san francisco and it's just gorgeous...

i don't think you can go wrong with the color...it's a great neutral but with some kick...
my thinking is you can always get a black, because they do those every season...

ALSO I found out today that they will only be making one weekender going forward, with the long ("mens") handles. So if you are like me and think its silly to get something with long handles when the handles stretch like crazy regardless, then act quick!
