really beaut strang, ok , originally when the bal le dix motorcycle bags were introduced back in 2001-2002, they were much cheaper in paris. i think barneys was the first store in US to carry them. the franc was still the money of france, pre euro. right before the conversion to euro, the dollar had a good ratio to the franc and i basically bought my first flat brass in bal paris for aroung $500 after VAT return. when france adopted the euro, bal prices in US actually went down slighty for a season. a bal first was only $775 instead of $900. at that point, i was buying euros for 80cents. not anymore!!!!!!!!

now, you still save about 15 percent or so in paris after VAT, but you have to watch how you pay. most credit cards charge you a 3% foreign money exchange which most people dont even realize. however, you used to save about 40 percent before the euro and the decline of dollar.

i was looking at balenciaga bags in different sizes, and i really liked the way the brief looked on me...

I think the brief is one of the nicer shapes for a guy. Worst is probably the first (to me ). I saw a guy with a Vert Gazon brief like ^^^ and it looked really good on him. So I say yay!

hi guys....i think i have a crisis here,i bought the wrong balenciaga clutch......i think i bought a men's clutch ,attached pics are the clutch that i actually wanted,and the other is the one that i bought......i bought it at balenciaga boutique in bangkok a few days ago,i was already suspicious that it was men's clutch already but the SA convinced me that it was not!!! he said it was the only clutch made for the giant line ,and i didnt bring the picture with me(pic of the original clutch that i wanted),sooo,when i got home and see the pic on my computer i can see that they're two different clutches!!!! ,what am i suppose to do ??? to be honest i really like it,i want to give the clutch to my husband but it will look sooo tacky on him with the giant studs and all ,is it ok if a girl wear a men's clutch?what do you all think????

PursePrincess I think that is "travel" clutch? Is has compartments inside? I think it is part of the womens collection. On the plus side...it would be quite rare, I haven't seen many of those around.

Cavanaugh - I love that bag. Someone posted blue or purple version in another forum from a trunk show in the USA. It is GORGEOUS!!!! The colour version reallt stands out. Do you know the pricem for that one?

Purseprincess, that is a lovely clutch, and i think you should use it - men's or women's.
