Thanks for all your input! Fortunately, there is a store where a live so I can go see the bags in person. I got only got a quilted bag this season, instead of a Giant. I went in today to take another look at the giants but they have now sold out in every style.....kind of regretting not getting the Anthracite work now. Anyway, after talking to the helpful SA, I put my name down for a RH Violet city and work as well as a GGH Ivory work. After seeing the Silver giant hw I'm not so sure...they do look like thimbles. BTW, they had heaps of RH bags - in every colours....I dont think the RH is that popular anymore.

i've got news for bbag lovers that live in LA- a balenciaga store is going to open by the end of the year! yes that means paying taxes for bbags now, but being able to pick them out ourselves!!

^^ i haven't seen any vert gazon in stores, but check ebay - every once in awhile i see one there. it's a beautiful color! good luck...

i finally caved and put my name on the list for the jaune and violet - jaune first and violet city of work. can't wait!!!

i was just in chicago for a conference and visited barneys. they have a GORGEOUS cinnamon day. the leather is TDF! also the new flat hobo in ocean with silver GH was really beautiful (and equally nice leather). if i didn't already have blueberry, i would have grabbed it

nordstrom is only getting the violet and marigold GSH....and ONLY 3 of each apparently. i'm #1 on the list for both but JUST found out that they're silver...i kinda wanted the violet with gold or regular....and the marigold, well i think the silver will be better than gold...or just regular. i am seriously dying to see the step...though i know it's more of a satchel...no straps for the shoulder so idk. agh decisions to make before i get the call!

yep, I live like 10 mins from nordstroms..so I go there every so often to see what new bags they have. I didnt waitlist at nordstroms here in town..I called Diasey @ BAL NYC back in APRIL and told her I wanted the violet day with giant silver hardware and the marigold day with giant gold hardware....I dont like the cities because they dont fit over my shoulder properly
