Help me decide!!! I am so torn!

Should I go for the Electric Blue Work with GH or RH Day?

What about the new pink...Bubblegum or the Magneta(???) Unsure about names.

Generally I like Day more but I have quite a few of the same style...

i personally am trying to stay away from the GH bbags and have decided that i will only get RH bags because i personally think they're more classic. i have a few bags with GGH and one day with GSH but i think that's where my GH purchases will stop.

the day is a really good bag to use everyday. if you really love the style and it suits your needs, it wouldn't be too bad to own another one.

i prefer the work though because things don't get lost as easily and it fits over the shoulder.

chauss thank you!! i love the box though it's not as magnificent as your WEs!! i only have ONE weekender and love it to death. if the pink metallic was a WE i'd be ALL over it. but well, i already am all over it so what am i talking about!

fashionispoison, sorry no pics of my own(love your collection though!). I will have to dig on the Purse Forum.

For GH, I have Tomato Red and Violet. All others(not that many anyways) are RH. My only problem is Balenciaga HK would only carries the Spring 08 Electric Blue in GH and I am keen on buying from them because I am not sure about going onto the waiting list business here in US.

^ i don't think it'll be a problem for you to get an electric blue work in the US at all. production on balenciaga bags has increased as has its demand but not that many people are ready to take a plunge and purchase a 1k and over bag, KWIM?

many stores in CA had 30% off bal bags this year and the colors were popular as well, like the violet and vert d'eau.

i definitely would not recommend purchasing only because you think it'll be hard to get one in the US since i assume HK does not have a return policy like that of NM, Saks, or Barneys

Yes, you're absolutely right about the return policy!
Price-wise, each side cancel out with US taxes and HK discounts etc.
But NM is out of my question.... Since I have no AMEX. *argh* Should I make a trip to Barneys and just see...

i managed to score an emerald oval today from bal paris...
i've been looking for one forever, and the only ones i could find in the states were truffle...
i should be getting it in a few days...

this sort of makes up for the fact that i was on the list at bal ny for an electric yellow pochette, and i found out today that it isn't coming to the us store...
i might have to try ordering it from paris...

l, go check out the leather on the bag. the quality on the 08 bags varies greatly. i have seen "pleather' like leather and some good ones. have you seen the new magenta? it seems more vibrant than the new b gum pink. and if you do a new bal, you cant go wrong with RH. it is classic.

i agree with chauss leyla...
i just came from neiman's here, where they had a bubblegum first, a city and some GH versions...
the leather varied greatly from bag to bag...
you should definitely see it in person before buying...

the regular hardware city they had was gorgeous...

as much as i love the shape, emerald is more my style than truffle...
miz bags...i do have a sa there, and luckily, she speaks english...

Hi Leyla, i prefer the magenta than the bubblegum, but having said that bubblegum might be a bit more unique and enduring since magenta is generally everywhere at the moment! I think either would be fabulous. We are expecting our delivery soon...
