The Belts Thread

As in the typical belt with the Burberry design? Eh, personally it's not my cup of tea. I would consider paying $100+ for some logo belt to be a great investment.

Wish I had the money to go to Morocco.

Wow...Thank you for all your suggestions..I'm going hunting!

Diamond belts like 50Cent, Usher and so on.

Anybody know which designer made this belts? I am looking for a belt with diamonds on it. So who made all the belts for the hip hop stars?

Jacob The Jeweler, and others, just watch VH1.

I think French jewelry houses would do a belt; Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Boucheron and the likeness of course it will be astronomically expensive.

He would be my first guess for guys like 50Cent and Usher.

Do you have any friends that have private jewelers they can refer you to?

The Perfect Belt

I'm looking for a belt that I think would be the perfect belt. I saw this girl wearing it at a club. Its light brown leather. Just plain no design and a gold circle buckle. I'm on a quest now to find more perfect belts including that one. What do you guys think is the perfect belt? This one below is pretty good.

Well I saw very similar belts as you discribed in London at Portobello Market.

Concho Belts

The Sundance Catalog has some interesting revivals of the concho style belts designed by the LA designer Adrienne Teeguarden, whose belts are being sold also at Fred Segal and many shops on Sunset:

the first is called Rowena's Belt. It's $320 at sundancecatalog.com

the second is the Cross Concho Belt. It is $198 at sundancecatalog.com

the third is sold at bostonproper.com (another catalog) for $189.
