The Body Shop

I love the body butters and the fragrance oils - the cotton fresh one is amazing . The Honey Moisturising shampoo's & Conditioner's are quite good too.

Im thinking of trying the tea tree oil and tea tree face mask. Has anyone tried these?

the tea tree face mask's ok...i wouldn't use it all over my face because i have dry, sensitive skin and it's quite harsh but my sister has normal/combination skin and she finds it too harsh as an all-over mask as well. I've used it just on my T-zone and it works ok, but a better bodyshop mask is the Warming Mineral Mask - it works on any skin type and is gentle but effective, plus it warms up on your face which is cool :)

i'm currently using my pot of tea tree face mask as a spot-remedy, so if i get a spot i just put a blob of the green mask over it and go to bed, it seems to work ok in that capacity. Hope that helps!!

My skin is also pretty sensitive, so i think i'll give the tea-tree one a miss. Thanks for the advice!

^The Body Shop is generally horrible stuff to put on your face, especially if you have sensitive skin. They literally burnt my skin and gave me unwanted zits all over my face. The only thing I use from them anymore are their shower gels.

I purchased the tee tree face mask about 2 weeks ago, have used it twice applying a very thin layer and so far it hasn't given me any problems :flower:

Yeah they are no good for sensitive skin but their shower gels are ok, i don't like how they have SLS in them though.

^I think the concentration of SLS in their shower gels and shampoos is very low... Their products barely lather!

^I am using thier olive shampoo and think it works fine ... not the best quality although their products smell great.

I recently discovered that the Body Shop has my ideal body lotion product - body lotion in spray form! I'm generally very lazy about moisturizing anything other than my face, especially during the moths when I'm all covered up in thick clothes anyway (backwards, I know). Mainly I just don't feel I have the time to sit and apply cream products to my whole body after every shower. Well, with this stuff I just spray spray spray and swiftly rub it in and I'm done. :D

I bought it in the after christmas sale though. Hope that doesn't mean it's being discontinued.

I just got some facial products from the Body Shop (Tea Tree foaming cleanser, Aloe soothing day cream, and Vit E intense moisture cream) and they made my skin horrible! I got red spots .. not acne .. and my skin became very over-dried :(

I do like their body butters though.

I ran out of all my TBS producst I've been using and I'm thinking of going to
neighbouring country (where they actually have Body Shop:rolleyes:) to buy new supply.:D
I saw they have new line, Sweet Lemon:

my absolute favourite has to be vitamin e face mist, fragranced with rose water.
it's just a delight to spray on during the day or before going to bed, when I'm too lazy to apply moisturizer ;)

all the body butters are obviously great as well and last for ages. now using the strawberry one, but pink grapefruit is soo gorgeous!

i received a sample of that when I bought a couple of body butters in the sale the other day (just for reference, i bought Almond which is deliciously spicy and creamy and generally divine and the Raspberry which literally smells like LOVE - like a jar of raspberry jam, mmm can't wait to slather it on in the summer).

ANYWAY, i'm something of a body butter fiend and have tried most of them and adore about 90% of the flavours, but the sweet lemon is not one of them :yuk:. I thought i'd love it because i love their citrusy ones like Satsuma (OMG yum) and Grapefruit, and I imagined it would be like lemonade or lemon merengue pie or lemon curd...it isn't. More like lemon Pledge. It just lacks something....the scent isn't fresh and zingy, it's kind of creamy smelling and musty - it reminds me of the lemon flavoured Gavascon i used to have when i got upset tummy on car journeys when i was a kid .

So personally, i recommend you stay away from it, or at least go in store and ask for a sample of it before you buy it. I have now added it to my list of body butters i don't like (which now includes avocado, grapeseed, blueberry, olive, cocoa and sweet lemon)

I bought a couple of things from The Body Shop today (cactus brush for dry body brushing & a coconut milk body lotion) and received a sample of the sweet lemon scrub. It smells REALLY strong but could be invigorating in the mornings. I'll try it out and report back

Body Shop body butters are to die for. I love the coconut ones the best and get the whole collection.

^I totally agree!Unfortunately there is no Body Shop in my country, but every time I go abroad I buy some.I love strawberry and cherry butters, and plan to buy coconut and almond next time.

Has anyone tried their lip and cheek stain? Is it comparable to benefits benetint?

I just discovered their Moroccan Rose Line - it smells delicious. I have to get the rose body butter as soon as possible.
