It looks dark brown to me. But maybe we should have a black hair appreciation thread.

It looks dark brown to me, too. You can see the reddish brown in the mid tones (next to where her hair starts to look white from where it shines). Black hair is only very, very, very dark brown hair, anyway. If you see it underneath the light it looks red or brown. So I think black-haired girls still qualify as brunettes.

I have to say that the first and last girls do not look like brunettes to me. They look more like blondes with dark or dirty blonde hair.

i need some help, ladies. i recently dyed my hair back to my real color. i had my color with blonde highlights over it and had highlighted it so constantly that i was beginning to look blonde! i now look... well, picture rose mcgowan, or liv tyler. LIKE THAT. that's my natural color only that i am not as pale as they are. i have rosy toned skin, and olive toned in the summer. my hair is black, (i didn't find a thread for black hair! so i am posting here!) and super duper straight. i'm so tired of leaving it down, and i am so tired of picking it up in a plain pony tail. any idea? what should i do? when i curl it, the curls won't stay because it's so straight. oh, and it's long.

i have naturally dark brown hair but ever since i dyed it chocolate cherry no dyes have been able to last. like i've dyed it black and it's only lasted a few days. i want my hair dark brown again! help!!!

Does anyone know which would be a good hair dye to get dark kind of dull looking brown hair more of a warm chocolatey brown. I have some random blonde hairs that look like white hairs when someone doesn't see them close up and I'd like to not have them showing for a wedding I'm going to be a part of.

Or loreal paris Natural Match in 4Neutral or 4Warm, I tried 4Red and it worked quite well.

Just dyed my hair a few shades darker and I love it! It really makes my eyes pop.

I used Clairol Perfect 10 in Level 5, which is a color called Mochalocative. I really reccomend it! It makes my hair managable and smell nice
