create a new layer over your background picture, put the Vogue logo on it, and erase the parts that appear on the face of the model... It's pretty easy once you've figured out what to do

'll try this next time (two covers + one supplement, i did).... it's a real good entertainment when you're bored of reading....

BerlinRocks: You can always raster the text layer and use the lasso tool around the model then delete

if you dont need photoshop, to insert the logo? what program do you need?
becuase when i add the logo i have ahuge white box, and then the logo ontop of the picture.

okay I'm sorry but now I made my final decision.
this two are my entries for the spring covers fof Vogue Italia.
I deleted the other one with Iris from photobucket so I think it disappeared:
