This isnt aimed at anyone, but isnt doing an ACNE PAPER cover a bit of a cop-out?

its kinda of just putting a picture in a frame. I mean, my covers are not anything spectacular or really the standard of some of the great entries that are submitted every week, but I try to make a COVER, instead of a lovely image in a white boarder.

AGAIN, not aimed at anyone....please take no offence, im just stating my opinion.

^^ I get what you mean, but the same can be said for most magazines though...just a logo and a tag line. I'm sure finding 'the perfect image' isn't always the easiest task in the world either.
