The Cover Challenge (PLEASE READ THE THREAD RULES IN POST #1)

So the winner is crmsnsnwflks with Entry #2! No better cover choice for a final issue than the magazine's creator. Congratulations!

Everyone's main problem with this thread is the announcement of the winner and the time frame as to which the winner declares the new theme. To combat this, the winner MUST BE announced within 24 hours of the week-long theme coming to an end. The winner must then announce their chosen theme within 24 hours. Failure to provide us with a new theme and a theme will then be chosen at random. If a winner isn't declared 24 hours after the week's up, forum members (you don't have be a participant) are now urged to send myself (vogue28) a PM with the name of the member they believe should win the round.

I know it sucks that we need to apply this, but if we never do, it will never stop.

Maybe this should be updated on the 1st page with the rest of the rules, so that new players can have easier access to it.

Thank you, apple.

Sorry, I wasn't able to check this website these past few days
as I was busy.

Anyway, here's the next theme:
How would you change the cover layout of Vogue US?

Picture yourself as Anna's successor. How would you redecorate
the classic Vogue US cover layout that's been used for more than two
decades already?

Please refrain from using fonts like Didot, Vogue, and Futura. Good luck.

The winner of this round is Cadence with his 2nd cover entry.
You're very talented! I like how the color lime pops into the image.
Congratulations!

Gosh!
Thanks crmsnsnwflks and zacatecas570!
So honoured. My first win!
Hoping this topic will drum up some competition.
New theme is...

S T R E E T !

Could be images from on the street a la classic Lindbergh...
...or Streetwear shoots in studio...
...or 'Street Couture' (however you define it)...
...or anything that relates to 'street'...
Think Vogue but also think i-D, Dazed, Sportswear International, etc.
So stop loitering about and hit the pavement!

So many killer covers, my God!! :flower:

- That blue Sara Sampaio VP cover - honestly, I'd eat crow if Emmauelle Alt ever run that.
- Saiorse Ronan on Interview's final issue - in fact most of the final covers looked amazing! Especially Kate and Naomi, and Gisele by Liz Collins. I'd die if they'd actually run a cover like that.
- Then there were others who made some excellent cases for the models who I can't abide. Taylor's night & day covers, Elsa's VI and both Stella's two covers. Great shots paired with even greater art direction.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cadence will get snapped up by a magazine. His style is really not to my taste, but very like what we see on covers right now.
