The Cover Challenge (PLEASE READ THE THREAD RULES IN POST #1)

It was certainly harder than I thought it'd be! Unfortunately, I only had the time today to finish the first half of the year so I'm only posting the entry for fun. I didn't want to use his older works as I wanted to create a realistic set of covers using only the models that are still active/currently relevant.

1.) Naomi Campbell, Moschino S/S 2018
2.) Faretta, Vogue Italia November 2016
3.) Bente Oort, British Vogue August 2019
4.) Adut Akech, Moschino S/S 2020
5.) Joan Smalls, Moschino S/S 2016
6.) Anna Ewers, Prada Resort 2014

That Faretta cover is giving me life!!

Okay. So this is really tough. I never thought it'd be so hard to do 12-14 covers for a single round. It really takes time to create them. Just choosing an image alone to use for the cover eats a lot of your time already for there a ton of photos to use from. I guess it just proves how we miss seeing Meisel's photo on the cover of Vogue Italia. The whole Franca era. :( So, with that being said, I'd like to applaud everyone who took the time and join this round. Thank you so much, you all. I appreciate it. :flower:

But, as we all know, there can only be one winner. And without further ado, the winner of this challenge is..

All of the entries were amazing and they put Emanuele Farneti's decisions about his covers to shame but your entry just sparked something. They have this 'Quintessential Meisel' feeling that we all miss dearly. Congratulations!

Wow! Thank you @cottonmouth13 for picking me as the winner. I'm going to add this to my graphic design CV. And a message to Steven Meisel: I know you don't give a sh*t but we miss you!

The theme for next round is

US Bazaar Redesign :judge:

Well, we all must've gone 'meh' after seeing Samira Nasr's debut Bazaar cover. Because everybody knows this magazine needs a shake-up. So let's be charitable and give her team some ideas for a brand new art direction, shall we?

Have fun!
