Thanks to everyone who participated in this round. The winner is @0st3nd for their "Gluttony" entry.
I love how the masthead compliments the whole photo + the cover is something that the magazine seems to be afraid of doing these days as they are stuck with safer cover shoots on their most recent issues.
Also, the "buy this magazine or we will crush your damn phone" blurb on your Esquire cover is genius! I miss buying men's magazines with sarcastic tone like FHM and pre-Sardar Biglari Maxim because of it.
Wow, this is really unanticipated. I really didn't expect to win again, thank you very much @crmsnsnwflks !
Next week's challenge will be: Your own fashion magazine.
So basically the challenge is open-ended: your choice of model and photographer, your choice of title, or even your own photography or illustration for the cover (I've been on this forum long enough to know how talented our community is).
You can also include lifestyle, art, pop culture, or whatever interests you: you don't have to limit yourself to fashion magazines.
So it's not exactly a magazine, but... I have a concept!
It's a biannual publication published by the Fashion Spot, a collaborative effort of our members creating a unique tome exploring one specific theme per issue. The hardcover book comes elegantly wrapped in a tFS slipcase, it is a perfect coffee table book with visually appealing design and luxurious feel that every fashion lover must have!
Every issue is a heartfelt tribute to one individual, whether it be a legendary fashion house or a household name in the industry. The mock-up below shows an issue dedicated to one of the most beloved photographers of the past, Richard Avedon. It includes an array of essays and interviews written by the tFS team, as well as personal friends and acquaintances of Richard Avedon. You will find an incredible selection of Richard Avedon's most impressive fashion photography, both seen and previously unseen by the public, as well as various present day interpretations of his work by world's leading current photographers such as Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Steven Meisel, Rafael Pavarotti and more.

I also have a protoype for the Helmut Newton edition, but I didn't elaborate on that one:

Velvet is an indie Filipino fashion magazine that celebrates beauty and fashion in all forms. For Velvet's inaugural issue, I focused more on
the themes of "blooming" and "wellness". Here are the sample pages that I made for Velvet.

Slightly (very) disappointed by the absence of recreations/themes/support for Vogue Ukraine during March-May 2022, so I decided to make this despite the theme.
Viewpoint is a continental fashion magazine that features beauty, culture, and style from all across Asia.
For its inaugural issue, I featured my favorite photographers from Taiwan, China, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia,
South Korea, and India.
This magazine's design was inspired by the current layout of Vogue Korea mixed with Preview Philippines's old print layout.

Thank you all for participating this week.
The winner is entry#2 of @Toni Ahlgren . Congratulations!
This cover looks elegant and classic, yet chic at the same time. The color scheme of it is also really nice.
I would also like to thank @aracic and @crmsnsnwflks , I can't imagine how much time and effort you guys put into these, greatly appreciate it! And if I see them in a real-life magazine store I would definitely pick them up in a heartbeat. Shoutout to @crmsnsnwflks for featuring all those Asian talents! The representation we need! #proudtobeasian @dontbeadrag thank you for contributing, sadly we don't have enough covers like this.
Well damn! I didn't see that coming. Thank you and thank you everyone for participating and a deep bow to @crmsnsnwflks for that monumental job you did with your magazines.
For the next challenge, I got the idea during the Patrick Demarchelier challenge a while ago.
Love her, hate her or just be indifferent, having probably the most photographed person in the world as our theme should give you plenty of material to work with.
The theme is...
WEEK OF 1000 MADONNAS
(Good luck, don't f*ck it up and don't give me too many kimonos)
Okay, this is @vogue28 and me creating already five fun and diverse covers. Is everyone that busy or did I totally fail the theme? You guys better flood this thread with entries before Sunday or it'll be officially dead
