The Cover Challenge (PLEASE READ THE THREAD RULES IN POST #1)

Oh wow, I am beyond honored to have been chosen as the winner of this round, @Zorka. Thank you ever so much. Thank yooooou! A huge congratulations to everyone who entered, always such a joy to see you all keeping this much-loved thread so alive.

The new theme shall be... How Far You've Come! :king:

The aim this week shall be to showcase just how far you've come in terms of creativity. I was looking back at some of my very first entries within this thread and was shocked I had the audacity to upload half of them - and instantly thought of how I'd re-do them today.

To enter, you must upload the cover you're redoing, alongside your re-do entry for the challenge. I hope you enjoy, and good luck!

In September 2018, Jorge, now goes by the username JPineapple, promoted a "build your own magazine" concept
on this thread. I decided to create an artsy, colorful indie fashion magazine that goes by the title Cashmere
which derives from an expensive wool material used for clothing.

Fast forward and a month ago, I (secretly) released the maiden issue of my (non-profitable) digital fashion magazine,
which is also a celebration of arts and crafts from my country's local talents. I came up with TELA for its title
- a Filipino word that means fabric and/or canvas.

Here are some sample pages of TELA's maiden issue:

LOVE LOVE LOVE the name and the logo!! Fantastic!:starstruck:

Great theme! Didnt realise how horrific our covers were back then some of mine look like ransom notes from kidnappers! Though back then we had some really good content to source our covers from unlike now when fashion photography is a dying artform. Let me work on a few hopefully I can find the original images.

What an excellent round of entries/re-entries. All these covers are just amazing but @Urban Stylin your cover of Karolina is begging to be on the top of my magazine pile!! Sigh.

A massive thank you to everyone who participated this round, I am so grateful. Thank you! No such surprise to see such an amazing level of creativity and dedication.

The winner is... @VogueGirl8910! :magic:

Congratulations to you! Absolutely adore your entry with Kate Moss by Mario Sorrenti. I miss the glory days of Vogue Paris terribly, so seeing the ultra-fab Kate Moss shoot was a lovely trip down memory lane. Great execution of the cover - I love it.
