Wow, the last few entries left me shocked! They're all stunning really. Indya, Valentina, Irina, and even Lena Waithe works way better for Porter than she did for VF. The unique composition on these covers is exactly what's missing with print magazines nowadays.

That Vanity Fair entry is glorious! Anything that a magazine should aspire to achieve these days. Great photography, great layout, and culturally relevant cover subject. I also love the clever pun for the coverline. Every editor at Conde Nast, Hearst, whatever should take a look at it.

The new theme is...

The Rebirth of W Magazine

I think most of us can agree that W has lost it's way in recent years and, with it being up for sale at the moment, I thought it would be great to see what you would all do to breathe new life into the magazine if you were the next owner/editor.

Anything goes: design a new logo, use new typefaces, change the size (or not) - whatever you want. It has to set the tone for what you think W should be in it's new era, so pick a cover subject and photographer to reflect that.

Good luck and I can't wait to see what you all come up with!
