Sorry for constantly spamming the thread with extra entries, but I can't help myself when it comes to Meisel! This is probably my favorite challenge theme so far lol
I wanted to reimagine some covers of US Vogue and how the magazine would look if they kept Meisel as the cover photographer all through the 2000s. Planned on doing all twelve issues of 2008, but lost interest halfway through - still, I wanted to post here just for the sake of it hahah Don't wanna let them go to waste!

I think it would be remiss of us not to partake in the Black Lives Matter movement within this thread, and show the industry just how diversity ought to be done on the covers of our favourite fashion glossies. Whether you want to give your favourite black model/actress the spotlight on the cover of American Vogue, do a 2020 spin on Italian Vogue's iconic 'Black Issue' from 2008 or gift a black photographer the cover spot - the choice is yours.
