I truly believe Janelle Monáe should’ve been another co-chair for this year’s Met Gala. She’s one of the few female artists who perfectly embody the female-dandy spirit, which aligns so well with the theme this year.

That image got me inspired. I can totally imagine someone showing up on the red carpet in that look: ultra-extra tailoring, bold lines...

So, the next theme is:

“THE NEW SHAPE”
