Lets be honest here,the book is not good it is badly written and is just not a good work not even for chick lit!The succes of the book is only because of Anna Wintour if it werent for her none of this would be happening!

Agreed. I thought the book was terribly written and I actually think the film is going to be a bit too campy. I'm gonna wait til HBO. I do like that Gisele is in it.

The book was an amusing plane-read, but in the end--whiny fluff. Women in the military or in medicine suffer far worse in terms of physical demands and humiliation. Poooooor Lauren...she had to work long hours and weekends...

this is ridiculous, some people are so sad!! I hate that someone that is literally at the top of her game gets slammed so much, i have to admit that the tofu pie was funny but this is wrong!I am glad to say that i have morals and values, thanks mom!

^well, i don't think that the idea of the movie is to slam her. somebody wrote a book based on experience with a famous person, someone else thought it could become a fun movie and there you go. now, it's too obvious it's about anna but who cares. in the end it's just a movie
