I have not yet seen The September Issue, because it didn't show in my area. So tell me, how does it compare to the Devil Wears PRADA. Of course, the Devil Wears PRADA was solely for entertainment purposes. Does anyone feel that Ana Wintour is closely related to the personality of Miranda Priestly?

I'd like to know your thoughts.

I think the best similiarity between Miranda and Ana is the fact that they both really are not "hands on" with the production of the magazine, but more of the final person to validate the choices you have made for the magazine. Ana in The September Issue is not even a mile near from photoshoots. She just tells Grace and the rest of the team what should be photographed and who will be photographing. Then they look at the final product and judges it. Very hardworking indeed.... *sarcasm* Some of the photos that weren't included in the September issue were some of the best ones. I would pay for a copy of that group picture of the girls wearing all John Galliano pieces in the cafe editorial. It was beautiful.

I mean at one point of the movie she even asks her daughter which picture would be best for the cover of an issue.... I'm not sure if she was actually serious about the question or not.
